Book a car wash with AI assistants

You can ask your AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude or any other MCP-compatible client) to check free slots at our car washes in Alicante, book an appointment, join a waiting list or cancel a booking. The assistant uses our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, which applies the same rules as the online booking on our website. Tool names and responses are in Spanish.

How to connect

Server URL: https://www.garajeeuropa.es/mcp/ (keep the trailing slash). Transport: Streamable HTTP. No account or authentication is required.

• Claude: in Settings > Connectors, add a custom connector with that URL.
• ChatGPT: go to Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins), select the + button and “Add custom MCP server”, enter that URL, choose no authentication and create the plugin. Then, in a new conversation, type @ and select the plugin.
• Other MCP clients (Cursor, VS Code, etc.): add a remote HTTP server with that URL.

Assistants do not discover the server on their own during a conversation: it must be added first as described above. Menu names may vary between app versions, and some business workspaces do not allow custom servers.

Tools

• listar_centros (read-only): car wash locations with address, phone and directions.
• listar_tipos_lavado (read-only): bookable wash types, duration and price by vehicle size.
• clasificar_vehiculo (read-only): tells whether a vehicle counts as standard, XL or XXL based on our published lists; the size changes the price.
• consultar_disponibilidad (read-only): free slots and full slots (with waiting list) between two dates, up to 31 days.
• preparar_reserva (read-only): validates the booking details and returns a summary with the price and a confirmation code valid for 15 minutes. It does not book anything.
• confirmar_reserva (write): creates the booking from the confirmation code. It must only be called after the user has explicitly confirmed the summary.
• apuntarse_lista_espera (write): adds the user to the waiting list of a full slot; we email them if it frees up.
• avisar_apertura_semana (write): if a future week has no open slots yet, we email the user when it opens.
• consultar_reserva (read-only) and cancelar_reserva (destructive): require the booking code and the phone number used to book. Online cancellation is possible up to 1 hour before the appointment.

Resources

The server also exposes two read-only resources (Markdown, in Spanish) so the assistant can answer questions with official information: garajeeuropa://lavadero/preguntas-frecuentes (same content as the FAQ) and garajeeuropa://lavadero/tarifas (all rates, including services only available in person).

Booking flow

1. The assistant checks availability and asks for the wash type, name, phone number, licence plate and vehicle make and model. Email is optional: if given, the user receives a confirmation and a cancellation link.
2. preparar_reserva returns a summary with date, time, location and price, including a warning if the vehicle is XL or XXL.
3. Only after the user confirms does the assistant call confirmar_reserva, which returns the booking code.

XXL vehicles cannot book the basic wash online. Each phone number can make at most 3 bookings per day through AI assistants, and each licence plate can only have one pending wash.

Your data

The server only receives the data needed for the booking: name, phone number, email (optional), licence plate, make and model and notes, plus the IP address and client type of the request, just like the website booking form. It does not receive or store your conversation with the assistant, which is handled by the assistant's provider under its own privacy policy. More information in our privacy notice (in Spanish).

Troubleshooting

• No slots shown: the schedule opens week by week. Ask the assistant to notify you when the week opens.
• “La hora ya no está disponible” (slot no longer available): someone else booked it in the meantime. Check availability again.
• “El código de confirmación ha caducado” (confirmation code expired): the summary is valid for 15 minutes. Ask the assistant to prepare it again.
• Cannot cancel: the appointment is less than 1 hour away. Call the car wash: Hospital Alicante +34 965 91 69 47, Av. México +34 965 92 84 49.

Test mode (for reviewers and developers)

With the phone number 699000999, the tools that change data run the same validation but save nothing, send no emails and do not require the slot to be free: confirmar_reserva, apuntarse_lista_espera and avisar_apertura_semana return a simulated response. The simulated booking has the code PRUEBA, which can be looked up and cancelled with the same phone number. Read-only tools return real data.

Suggested test: list the locations, check availability for the next 7 days at location 1, classify “Volkswagen Tiguan”, prepare a booking with phone 699000999, confirm it, look up booking PRUEBA and cancel it.
